		PT-129 - Sam Weller Here we have a wonderful tamp depicting Sam Weller from the Dickens novel, Pickwick Papers. Sam Weller is the great symbol in English literature of the populace peculiar to England. Sam Weller is, of course, the "hero" of the book, the character of prime interest. This tamper is the same on both sides. It is carved in great detail from Sam's hat to his shoes. This tamp is 2 1/8 inch tall from the bottom of the base to the top of Sam's Hat. It is an inch wide. Each tamper is hand cast in food safe, lead-free jeweler's pewter of the highest grade.
